After the Czech Republic, Ukraine is the next foreign market in which Columbus Energy S.A. operates.<\/span><\/h5>\n

Today, the Management Board of Columbus Energy S.A. has signed a joint venture agreement. Under the agreement, Columbus and its Ukrainian partner will design, supply and install products from its portfolio of photovoltaics, heat pumps and energy storage through a company established in Ukraine. The operations of the Ukrainian company, in which CE will take up 60% of shares, will be conducted under the Columbus brand, with the use of the company products, technological, sales and marketing resources.
\n\u201cUkraine is another foreign market, after the Czech Republic, where we want to leverage our effective sales model and years of experience. We are aware that this is a challenging market, but at the same time it is very promising. Currently, the Ukrainian energy industry depends on fossil fuels and nuclear power. Restoring energy independence is a priority for Ukraine, which means that the demand for RES solutions in Ukraine will be huge in the next few years. Even now, during the war, there is a considerable demand for energy independence in the south-western regions, comments Dawid Zieli\u0144ski, the President of the Management Board of Columbus Energy S.A.
\nIt is worth remembering that Columbus commenced its operations abroad last June, in the Czech Republic. Product sales officially began there in August 2022. Initially it was photovoltaics with energy storage, but now the offer has been expanded to include heat pumps and products for the B2B segment.
\n\u201cIn Ukraine, there will be many tender procedures and international contracts relating to the reconstruction after the war. As a member of United Nations Global Connect, we are looking at how the world is preparing for \u201cpost-war\u201d times. We want to be first and operate in Ukraine the way we do in the Czech Republic, where we were able to implement a repeatable and scalable business model in less than six months. According to preliminary estimates, we had made more than 300 installations in the Czech Republic by the end of March this year and generated about PLN 30 million of revenues, but we will present detailed data in the quarterly report.
