18/05/2023 13:43
Slovakia is the third country where Columbus is introducing its offer. The Company will provide RES products for residential and business customers.

Columbus Energy S.A. is pursuing the announced expansion into foreign markets. In mid-April this year, the Company started operations in Ukraine, where it will supply and assemble products from its portfolio, and is now preparing for the sales in the Slovakian market. Today, the Columbus Management Board has signed a joint-venture agreement under which a company will be established in Slovakia, with a 52 percent share of Columbus.

In less than a year of our operations in the Czech Republic, we are among the top 5 companies in the local photovoltaic market. Together with our Czech partners, we are pursuing our strategy to expand to the Slovak market. The Slovak market, like the Polish market, is supported by subsidies for the purchase of photovoltaics, but the market is still estimated to be in the very early stages of growth. This offers an excellent opportunity to leverage our expertise and effective solutions. In the Czech Republic, we already have our own installation teams and strong sales teams that will support our Slovak colleagues. Our Czech associates are also handling the comprehensive organisation of operations in Slovakia, as a result of which we are opening our subsidiary in another market with great confidence and optimism – says Dawid Zieliński, the President of the Management Board of Columbus Energy S.A.

It is worth remembering that in June 2022 Columbus commenced its operations in the Czech Republic, and on 18 April this year it established a company in Ukraine, where it will soon launch sales and installation of photovoltaics, heat pumps and energy storage facilities.
